Do you live in Perth?

Caught my eye: Facebook’s obviously uses user targeting for their ad delivery – as I’ve only entered some basic information in my profile (such as country of residence), I am presented with this ad “Do you live in Perth?”.
Interesting, how strongly we respond to place-name-based advertising.
(PS. Dunno why these guys are allowed to advertise a (seemingly) competing social networking platform on Facebook…)
