On a side note, Mosso still amazes me as far as customer service is concerned. I just wish their servers were that little bit more stable… but I think they are in fact improving on the status quo.

Goody Plastic is co-owned by our dear friends Nick and Kym from Artswift. The company produces plastic additives that allow products to break down easily. “Goody Additive is 100% environmentally safe, is non-toxic and contains no heavy metals”, says Goody, continuing… “Goody Additive maintains the integrity and performance of your plastic products. The only difference being, the plastic has a shelf-life – it will not last forever.”

We’ve launched the Goody website a week or two ago using Kym’s design, coded it using NomisPro, and have released it to the world.

We’ve finally launched the villages.com.au website, an extensive directory of retirement villages, aged care facilites, over-55s developments, as well as editorial resources for viewers contemplating their retirement options.

The site has been built using the latest build of NomisPro™, our in-house developed content management system. It will soon be released to the general public. Villages Publishing staff is managing both editorial content and village listings independent of us.

The website features geo-location search (with all Australian postcodes geo-tagged), ajax-based auto-suggestion, regional splitting, operator search and manages paid and free listings automatically. Listing providers have access to a self-service platform where they can update listings, subscribe to enhance their listing, view visitor statistics and upload images and editorial content about their village listings. Highly search-engine optimised, the updated version of this website should improve on its Google ranking (Australia’s only real contender) and we will be watching the traffic closely over the coming months.

Caught my eye: Facebook’s obviously uses user targeting for their ad delivery – as I’ve only entered some basic information in my profile (such as country of residence), I am presented with this ad “Do you live in Perth?”.

Interesting, how strongly we respond to place-name-based advertising.

We have just launched the website for one of our Swiss friends. ch-x, or Swiss Federal Surveys for Adults, is an organisation that, while it seems to be linked to the army, is actually an independent body that researches on various topics about social, economical and educational standards for Swiss adults.

To celebrate their 10-year existence, CCP, and architecture and interior design firm which is based above our office in Balmain East, have launched an updated website. Our involvement consisted of back-end integration, automated page creation and re-coding the site in HTML rather than using Flash.

Fountain of Hope is an Australian government accredited charitable organisation founded recently by Anthony Lang. It supports homeless children in Australia. We have provided Anthony with a temporary holding page, and will be creating a full website shortly.

The program aims at helping homeless children achieve a better position to be able to find work, manage their finances and build more self-esteem.

Integrated with Paypal’s donation system, the website will help Anthony with his fundraising efforts and will hopefully allow him to grow the charity to a larger size.

In the light of its recent takeover by the Vision Group, our long-standing customer, The Eye Institute, has now been renamed to Vision Eye Institute. We have just updated the website to reflect this change, and updated the visuals to reflect the updated corporate identity.

Another week, another launch… We have just activated a second website for Prestige Woodwind and Brass Musical Instruments in Bondi Junction. The new website’s focus is to sell music instrument reeds at competitive prices in Australia for clarinets, saxophones, oboes and bassoons. Reeds online feature a wide range of products, but the interface has been kept simple to allow quick and easy purchase of required products.

The site features a fully automated backend solution with Paypal IPN notification, simple product catalog upload via a CSV file and the usual, clean coding in XHTML and CSS.

Bronze Aussie sells a unique bronze replica statue made by the original artist of the World War I digger on Anzac Bridge. The Website has been designed by Adept Graphics and features an online store, which is fully integrated with Paypal. The backend is an automated solution, which allows for scheduled invoicing, instant payment notification and management of existing clients and invoices.

We have also provided the client with a full 360 degrees photography of the statues, however, as the back of the figure is not highly attractive, we refrained from showing all angles.
